The Samsung Galaxy SIII. The Package.

The Samsung Galaxy SIII. It’s beautiful, stunning, amazing, in every aspect possible, and it’s really hard not to look at this thing a 2nd time. The device contains a lot of the features speculated over the past few months, and a range of ones we didn’t. But let’s round up the Samsung Galaxy S III. Corner to corner.

Firstly, the hardware, the phone snaps up at just 8.6mm, making it one of the thinnest smartphones ever. The phone brings an 8MP camera, a 4.8″ AMOLED display, plus a HD front facing camera, which impacts much of the new technology we’ll get round to in a minute. But what we are all excited for, is the 1.4GHz Exynos processor, that will make this phone next to ‘rapid’.

Software is also amazing and fits the phone perfectly, packing Android’s latest OS, Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone uses some of the worlds, ‘state-of-the-art’ technology, including face recognition features. For example, you only have to look at the phone to unlock it, and the phone also falls asleep when you do. The phone will also NEVER fall asleep when you are looking at it. Which If I’m honest, did annoy me, not just on phones, but also iPods and also tablets. Samsung will hopefully keep innovating us with features like this, and it seems like Apple has some catching up to do.

While the phone seems ‘out of this world’, it seems like the phone still has major competition, with the HTC One X proving to be one of HTC’s most successful device, selling millions and also proving itself worthy of it’s quad-core processor it’s packing. Samsung is trying to erect this possibility by placing ‘Samsung Pins’ across London, which will allow users to try out the Galaxy S III for themselves before buying it. This should help flood in customers from every corner of the globe. And these will places throughout the capital.

With the phone coming at us on May 30th, available in two colours. Marble White and Pebble Blue. This phone will possibly ‘blowout’ the competition, and will be available on many networks, including Vodafone and 02. But no word on pricing just yet.

So, are you excited for this phone coming later this month? Let us know in the comments section and also mine and Tech Square’s Twitter!

Hands on: Samsung Galaxy S3 review

To Rival Apple’s Siri?

Will Samsung’s new S3 come with a ‘Siri’ like feature, this seems to be the case, as you can simply type your message by speech, and do multiple things similar to Apple’s siri. We’ll have more on this in the future!

Also has the ability ‘Smart Message’, which will let you know of important messages, for example, if you get a message several times, or even just once, it will buzz not just once, but 5 times, other technical details also, we’ll have more!

IT’S HERE! The Samsung Galaxy S III!

Samsung have FINALLY announced in London, the new Galaxy S III! Boosting an 8MP camera, 4.8″ touchscreen, and not forgetting, that 1.4GHz Exynos processor. Also includes 1GB ram and also, eye recognition, so the phone is always on when you are looking at it!

The phone will release in over 100 counrties on a wide range of carries, so lets take a look at the phone shall we? The Galaxy S3. More news on the way!

Nokia Pureview Phone to Boost Windows Phone

Back in January when Nokia first announced their first Pureview phone, everyone assumed that this phone will run the Symbian Belle operating system, but most people interested didn’t care, and really were interested in the 41 mega pixel camera on offer.

But however the Finnish group did however state that this device WOULD be making it’s way over to the Windows Phone platform after all, and if this does happen, this would be a huge boost for Microsoft and Windows Phone.

You happy this phone is making its way over to Windows Phone?

Motorola RAZR MAXX Due to Arrive in Europe + Middle East in May?

Motorola themselves announced earlier that they will be releasing their latest Motorola RAZR MAXX device sometime in May. But only being announced for Europe and the Middle East, what about countries like America and Canada?

The phone is set to feature a 4.3″ Super AMOLED touch-screen, on board with a 1.2GHz processor, and also 1GB ram, along with the Android Operating System.

However Motorola hasn’t fully announced what verion of Android the RAZR MAXX will ship with, but as being a high-end phone, hopefully we can see Honeycombe 3.2, or even Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0!

Are you excited for Motorola’s new device releasing next month?

Rovio Confirms It Has ‘No Plans’ for Angry Birds Space on Windows Phone. Not the Case, According to Rovio CEO

With Angry Birds Space making it’s way across the likes of iOS and Android. Windows Phone 7 uses appear to be left out.

Rovio confirmed that WP7 will not be receiving the inevitable new Angry Birds title, as it will cost too much, and the OS isn’t big enough.

But Rovio CEO Mikael Hed quickly changed the statement that Microsoft and Rovio are working on bringing Angry Birds Space to the Windows Phone 7 market!

You excited by this news? Or do you believe still that Rovio will undertake a ‘silly’ move to bring this game to the Windows Phone 7 marketplace? Comment below!

iPhone 5 Said to Come With LTE & 3.5″ Display in Autumn/Fall

Since the release of the new iPad last week, iPhone 5 rumors have been surfing our screens, a few days ago we had rumours of a 4.6″ screen to now having the 3.5″ screen we know and love, but the bigger screens avaliable to market are beginning to catch peoples eyes. And I think this is one thing Apple could do to regain much of it’s ground, but we’ll see in Autumn what exactly Apple have planned.

Any thought what we could see in the next iPhone?

LG Aim To Ship 80 Million Phones and 35 Million Smartphones In 2012

We know 2011 wasn’t the overall best year for LG, LG we’re known for providing budget touch screen handsets for the lower range market, such as the LG Cookie. Which sold millions worldwide. We’re not interested in budget phones now, and mobiles are much more advanced now anyway, but LG plan to get the ball back up and rolling in 2012, by hopefully shipping around 80 million phones, and 35 million smartphones.

The company has struggled to compete with the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy range, and also Apple’s iPhone domination. But LG is hoping to pick up the pieces with their new handset the ‘LG Optimus 4X HD’ will help LG on it’s feet, hosting a quad-core processor, and high definition screen

Will you be considering picking up the 4X HD when it arrives to UK shelves?
