The Samsung Galaxy SIII. The Package.

The Samsung Galaxy SIII. It’s beautiful, stunning, amazing, in every aspect possible, and it’s really hard not to look at this thing a 2nd time. The device contains a lot of the features speculated over the past few months, and a range of ones we didn’t. But let’s round up the Samsung Galaxy S III. Corner to corner.

Firstly, the hardware, the phone snaps up at just 8.6mm, making it one of the thinnest smartphones ever. The phone brings an 8MP camera, a 4.8″ AMOLED display, plus a HD front facing camera, which impacts much of the new technology we’ll get round to in a minute. But what we are all excited for, is the 1.4GHz Exynos processor, that will make this phone next to ‘rapid’.

Software is also amazing and fits the phone perfectly, packing Android’s latest OS, Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone uses some of the worlds, ‘state-of-the-art’ technology, including face recognition features. For example, you only have to look at the phone to unlock it, and the phone also falls asleep when you do. The phone will also NEVER fall asleep when you are looking at it. Which If I’m honest, did annoy me, not just on phones, but also iPods and also tablets. Samsung will hopefully keep innovating us with features like this, and it seems like Apple has some catching up to do.

While the phone seems ‘out of this world’, it seems like the phone still has major competition, with the HTC One X proving to be one of HTC’s most successful device, selling millions and also proving itself worthy of it’s quad-core processor it’s packing. Samsung is trying to erect this possibility by placing ‘Samsung Pins’ across London, which will allow users to try out the Galaxy S III for themselves before buying it. This should help flood in customers from every corner of the globe. And these will places throughout the capital.

With the phone coming at us on May 30th, available in two colours. Marble White and Pebble Blue. This phone will possibly ‘blowout’ the competition, and will be available on many networks, including Vodafone and 02. But no word on pricing just yet.

So, are you excited for this phone coming later this month? Let us know in the comments section and also mine and Tech Square’s Twitter!

Galaxy S III Likely to Flavour Both White and Blue at Launch?

With the Galaxy S III having it’s official launch in just over 24 hours time in London, we are likely to see the phone release in two colours. Blue, and white. These have been notified because of two sources.

One, because of the code found below, stating a blue and white device. And secondly, from Samsung’s press invite, it shows both a splash of white and blue colours, or this maybe just a coincidence, but we’ll have to see.

Samsung Galaxy S III Rumors, Ship One Week After Release?

Samsung Galaxy S III have flooded the interweb since we heard that the device should be revealed in London on May 3rd, and considering the latest rumors, the device should ship just a week later from on Thursday when we should see the device.  So this means that people could have the device in their hands by May 10th. So not long to wait until we can see who is right on the features expected on the much anticipated Galaxy S III.

Being announced in the UK, it could be possible that Europe could receive the phone first. But we just have to wait and see until Thursday.

Samsung Galaxy S III Will Launch on Vodafone

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III will launch on Vodafone, after the company posted a teaser on their website, the phone is expected in May and announced in London in the next coming weeks, after months of waiting, and should also be available on more networks too.

Sony Confirm ‘Yellow Screen’ Problems, Offer Replacement Handset

With not long ago the Xperia S being launched by Sony, it could well be Sony’ best handset to date, but not everything sailing well.

Sony recently announced problems with the phone, saying it can suffer from ‘Yellow Screen’ problems, where it just goes to a blank yellow screen, and often become very hot. Sony have said:

“Sony Mobile Communications has identified that the display on a limited number of Xperia S smart phones may show a slight yellow tint if exposed to temperatires above 40 degrees Celsius.”

Sony are offering replacement handsets to everyone, and say that this was a software issue, and is in the works of being exploited.

Have you have any yellow screen problems with your Xperia S?

Samsung To Announce S III In ‘First Half of The Year?’

We’ve so far heard from Samsung that the company will not be announcing their hyped up S III device at the Mobile World Congress, but apparently the phone will be getting it’s own flagship launch later this year.

The company announced in January that they are still reviewing the launch date of the device. But we can now say that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be coming before June this year!

That leaves the question open to what will Apple be doing with their also hyped up iPhone 5. Will we see it compete with the S III and be released around the same time in the summer? We’ll have to wait and see.
