Wii U Fifa 13 is Better than on Xbox 360 and PS3, says EA

According to an interview with ONM, Fifa 13 on the Nintendo Wii U, looks a lot better compared to the likes of the 360 and PS3.

EA have also said, that with the gamepad, you can make a lot easier and better decision, and as well as take free kicks, penalties, and much more using the game pad!

Seems that EA are fans of the Wii U, are you?

Nintendo to Start Selling the 3DS from today ‘At a Profit.’

Nintendo has a crisis with the 3DS at the beginning of it’s release, not shipping many consoles, and a £229 price tag that you could even get an Xbox or PS3 and also a couple games, which many thought had ‘doomed’ Nintendo.

This wasn’t true, Nintendo gave the console a much needed price drop, and Nintendo has gone on to sell nearly 20 million systems.

And Nintendo has annouced that all 3DS’ sold from now on will be sold at a profit, due to lower manufacturing costs.

That said. The 3DS XL and the Wii U, should also be great for Nintendo, as well as all the great Wii, DS, 3DS and Wii U games coming out in the next 6 months.

Great time to be a Nintendo fan then?

TechSquare are Back! Wii U £279.85 on ShopTo!

The Wii U have recieved mixed reviews since we heard more about it at E3 earlier this week at E3, and from a UK shop ‘ShopTo’, they have listed the price of both black and white consoles for £279.85.

This may be a bit of a steep price for now, but it should most definately come down, as the company selling the product would not want to start it too low, as the price of the actual product may be more than they have listed it, which may confuse customers.

Check the link containing all the available games to pre-order, aswell as the consoles. http://www.shopto.net/WII%20U/VIDEO%20GAMES/WIIUHW02-Nintendo%20Wii%20U%20Console%20Black.html

So. Have you pre-ordered at all?

Black Ops 2, What You Need To Know!

So, most of you have heard about the next Call of Duty, c0ming out on November 13th. It is the sequel to the relentlessly successful Black Ops, with a 2 in front. Hoping t0 beat MW3 7 million copies on launch record, Treyarch have gone for a slightly different approach then we might expected. Here is what has a happened.

Black Ops was set during the Cold War (1960′s), so were roughly 50 years off MW3′s time of 2012-2015. However, instead of putting the game into the civil wars of 1980′s, Black Ops 2 has jumped ahead of Activision, with the game set in 2025! The reveal trailer showing us the most futuristic CoD we have seen yet. The Heli tab is set to make an appearance, as well as the guns and locations were use to  (M4, ACR, UMP) ect. If you haven’t seen the reveal trailer, you can watch the video uploaded by Treyarch.

It is also rumoured that CoD XP will be taking place in Florida, USA.

So, what do you make of all this? Will you be buying the game, or was Black Ops not what it could have been? Comments below!

Rayman Legends Confirmed!

The Rayman Legends trailer, that we leaked only a few days ago, has now been confirmed by Ubisoft as a sequel to Rayman Origins.

The game should be coming out around the Wii U period, maybe late 2012, and will offer itself on a wide range of consoles, and also will offer a multi-player experience, in which the first game did not.

Check out the trailer and our other post on this below!

Nintendo 3DS Update: Incorporates Folders

Nintendo released an update to their latest handheld, which allows users a chance to arrange media content into various files, no exciting news really, but in case you’re interested, here you have it.

Rayman Origins 2 Confirmed?

The highly popular and award winning game from Ubisoft ‘Rayman Origins is likely to receive a sequel in the next coming year Arkenford a survey group announced.

The game despite being released in a very bad time period, still made Ubisoft a lot of money, sales were relatively good and also won an award for best graphics, has been a hit for many fans of Rayman, and most will love this news of a sequel. The 3DS version is also allocated to join the Vita, PS3, Xbox and Wii versions in June.

Ubisoft Very ‘Excited’ for Wii U Possibilities

Ubisoft earlier announced it has ‘big plans’ when it’s down to the Wii U, and hopes to be a big third party contributor to Nintendo.

Last year, Ubisoft released 6 games alongside the 3DS, including Rayman 3D, launched several with the PS Vita, including Rayman Origins and Lumines Electronic Symphony. The company also brought us games like Just Dance, and the ineveitable Assasins Creed, which will be returning this October 31st.

Looks like Ubisoft will be providing a handful of the Wii U games later this year, you excited?

Rayman Origins 3DS Delayed..Again!

Rayman Origins 3D was supposedly coming out in the UK this month, 30th to be exact. But it looks like Nintendo and Ubisoft has bushed back the released date for the title, to as far back as June 8th!

The PC version will be coming out still on March 30th in case any of you are wondering, but this news of a pushback isn’t huge news at all, as the game is already out on Xbox, PS3, Wii, PS Vita and soon, PC!

Despite the Game coming out in November, some people have still been waiting for a Rayman Origins 3D, instead of for the other consoles the game has been made avaliable for.

So, you disappointed for the push backed release date? Or you planning just to stick with your Rayman Origins you have on any other console?

Mario Party 9 (Nintendo Wii) Full Review

It’s not often we review games here at TechSquare, but when we either get an important and amazing game that’s been released, or like this one, a new game in a series. We’ll give it our thoughts and opinions.

Right off the bat, yes, it feels like a Mario Party game, that’s a good start, right? However I actually am slightly disappointed in this game. I say slightly, I am disappointed in this game. I use to have such fun playing Mario Party, my favourite being Mario Party 7 for the NGC. And this is just completely different comparing the two, yes it’s got the boards, characters and the spaces. But it’s missing what makes Mario Party, well..Mario Party.

The characters are your usual characters you can expect, Mario, Peach etc. And there’s nothing wrong with them, except no Boo sadly, but ah well. The boards, seem nice, haven’t had the chance to play every single one, but I’ve certainly got a taster. And the minigames are actually really nice and feel unique comparing to other Mario Party games. But some need to be played first before you get the hang of it, instead of reading instructions. And Nintendo have given us 80 BRAND NEW ones! Which is excellent. These are really the only good points that I can give Mario Party 9. And these are usually found in each one anyway!

The concept of going around a board with the other characters, in a small car seems pretty cool, but it’s really gimmicky. And it’s just not the same being able to go around and explore the map by yourself. And stuff that they left out, which they didn’t have to. The lack of items, yes, there’s dice blocks and a few others. But really? Candys? Orbs? These we’re amazing ideas that made the game twice as fun!

It’s a beautiful looking game, and you can see Nintendo did try with this one, but possibly a little too much? This is proberly the last Mario Party title to his the Wii. But maybe Mario Party 3DS, or a Mario Party 10 on the Wii U can help me fall back in love with the Mario Party I always knew and loved.

Officially TechSquared – Our Rating 7.5/10
