The innovative Call of Duty franchise may soon be greeted with a follow up to one of 2010′s biggest shooters, Black Ops, and we could be seeing Black Ops 2 as soon as November 13th, according to a report from US group Target.
However with Halo 4 coming out only on the 4th of the same month, both games could face some rival competition with each other, and maybe need a re-think of the release dates to avoid clashing.
What do you think of Black Ops 2 coming out this winter? Check the image below of what seems to be a Target reservation card for the game for both Xbox(left) and PS3(right)
The inevitable iPad has been a worldwide domination in the tablet market, and iPad Mini rumours have always flocked the streets. But more recently we’ve heard even more news of an iPad Mini.
But recently we’ve also been hearing news of an ‘iPhone Mini’ which will still have iPhone features but obviously will be smaller than the original iPhone, possibly holding a 3″/3.2″ screen, and considerably cheaper than the iPhone we know today.
It seems we could see a PlayStation console next year, with Sony dumping the numbering system.
Sources have done some digging and say they found that the word “Orbis” in Latin translates to something along the lines of “circle” or “ring.” The interesting part of this story is that when you put the words “Orbis” and “Vita” together, it loosely translates to the phrase “The Circle of Life” in Latin.
Also sources say that the PS4/Orbis will no longer support PS3 games, which could say that the console will use different types of software/hardware for their games, and maybe say goodbye to the disc, just downloadable content?
Some customers who have pre-ordered their new iPad in the last few days, since it’s launch on March 7th, have been told that their iPad is only around 20 minutes away from them. With Jonathan from TLDToday posting on Twitter saying “My new iPad is 20 minutes away. So close yet so far lol.” And then about an hour later, posting “I called Fedex and like expected they won’t let me go pick it up. I should drive down with a $100 bill lol.”
So it seems that Apple have sent these things out quickly, despite there being a drought in the number of iPads left, with customers who pre-order now, having to wait up to 2-3 weeks for it to dispatch. That’s after April for some people! How do you feel about this?
I’ve been a fan of the Android OS since I got my HTC Wildfire over a year ago. And to be honest, all the other operating systems didn’t really get to me. I already owned an iPod Touch with iOS 5. I love it, there’s no need for an iPhone in my opinion. And then there’s Windows Phone. Which I always thought was all of the phones we’re too expensive for what they are. Yes, iPhone’s are plus £500 nowadays. But we’re use to that anyway. I decided to sell my HTC Wildfire for £60, as the phone was becoming really sluggish and hard to use now. So I just thought that all I need to do is upgrade to a new Android device. Which was going to be the Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Now, James, our Administrator already has this device, and it seems to work great, but It was hard not to join the WP7 bandwagon, as everyone seemed to like it and be in on it. Then recently, I saw Nokia’s latest WP7 handset, the Lumia 710, and also on my preferred network, Vodafone. Which I have been using since my HTC Wildfire. The phone was an amazing £150, on PAYG. Which just seemed too good to be true! And this one had a 1.4GHz processor, 8GB Memory, 3.7″ screen, and of course, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS. So I went into Vodafone and decided to pick one of these up.
I love it, I so much prefer this device over any Android device I’ve owned/seen. Even my uncle’s new Samsung Galaxy SII. And this phone is just a joy t0 use. And that is how and why I decided to switch to Windows Phone 7.
